Sheffield Haworth Strengthens Asset Management Practice

Executive search firm Sheffield Haworth has hired Andrew Blane as managing director of its asset management practice in New York. Blane joins from Warren International, an executive search boutique specializing in conducting team lift-outs and searches in asset management. Here he served as managing director, identifying and placing entire teams of asset managers. He also advises chief executives of investment management firms on all aspects of their firm’s global expansion. “Andrew is a natural fit within our existing team in the US. He brings unique perspective and experience in strategic investment talent acquisition,” said the firm's managing director and head of the North American asset management practice, Paige Scott. “Furthermore, his clients respect his considerable industry knowledge, his network and his ability to balance the interests of everyone involved in his search work.” The appointment follows that of Christopher Smailes, who joined the firm's New York-based asset management unit as an executive director in March.
